English Exemption Exam Announcement
An English Exemption Exam will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, between 11:00–11:50 AM for newly enrolled students who wish to be exempted from the English I (ING101) and English II (ING102) courses to be offered via UZEM (Distance Education Center) during the 2025–2026 academic year. Participation in the exemption exam is not mandatory and is entirely optional. Only students newly registered at our university are eligible to apply. Applications from others will not be accepted. Students who wish to apply for the exemption exam must submit a petition to their respective academic units by 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the latest. No petitions will be accepted after this date. The list of eligible students and the exam venue details will be announced by the academic units in which the students are registered. Students who score at least 60 out of 100 in the exam will be considered exempt from the English course(s).
